Rotten Egg is a BeanBoozled bean, as Buttered Popcorn's equivalent. It is a white bean splashed with yellow, meant to represent egg white & yolk. The flavor was inspired by the smell released once a fridge with bad eggs is opened. Like all other BeanBoozled flavors, this flavor does not contain any actual egg and the flavor is completely artificial.

There are 10 different colors of jelly beans, but 20 different flavors. The game uses a spinner wheel or a dispenser for players to decide what color of jelly bean to sample. Each color of jelly bean could either be the normal, great-tasting flavor or a weird, gross tasting flavor. The bad flavors appear identical to the great tasting ones.
